
People of Switch – David Williams
Started sporting career in disabled swimming whereby he represented KZN and made the trials for Rio Paralympics. Moved from swimming into Rowing where he took part in several provincial regattas. Moved into Adaptive surfing at the end of 2020 in the Kneel division. Winning KZN and SA nationals in 2021, making the SA team to take part in ISA World ParaSurf Championship in California US, which the SA team did not make it to due to covid travel restrictions. 2022 winning KZN and SA Nationals again and recently being reselected to represent South Africa in California for ISA World ParaSurf Championship in December 2022. In 2022 David also won the Midmar Mile swim in the physically disabled category, completing the swim in 27 minutes. David has also taken part in several Charity sport events for Swimming,and Hand Cycling and is looking to complete the Tour Durban 45km cycle in September.

Favourite Switch flavour & why: Lemon Meringue, although i don’t dislike any of the Switch flavours, i have to say this one is my all time favourite. It tastes EXACTLY like lemon Meringue, its a lot harder to find than i would like though 😛 honorable mention has to be Wicks for the Retro vibes! But every flavor that becomes my favourite Switch stops making, so I am not saying any more.
