Over 1200 units of burgers and boerie rolls were handed out, breaking the world record. Over 500 people attended the event.

The key campaign objectives were to:

• Host the World’s Biggest Plant-based Braai
• Showcase available plant-based products in South Africa prepared on a braai
• Create an exciting event for those who are already following a plant-based lifestyle, and for anyone who would like to join in to try something new.

Switch generously sponsored over 216 of their units of flavoured energy drinks, featuring as the main energy drink sponsor for the day.
